NBA All-Star 2019 Results: Kevin Durant Gets MVP, NBA 2K19 MyTeam Moments Card

The NBA All-Star 2019 results are in after another edition of the annual game took place. The latest featured Team LeBron vs. Team Giannis from Charlotte’s Spectrum Center in North Carolina. There were also performances from hip-hop stars Meek Mill and J. Cole with plenty of celebrities and fans filling out the arena. They got to see a comeback win for one team, and an MVP win for Kevin Durant, leading to a brand new NBA 2K19 MyTeam Moments card.

NBA All-Star 2019 Results: Team LeBron tops Team Giannis

The actual game results were quite different than our NBA Live All-Star simulation showed. In ours, Giannis claimed MVP as his team won the game. The Bucks’ star was on pace to capture the award with his 38 points in the game on Sunday night. He also had 11 rebounds in the effort. However, it was Team LeBron that was able to come back and capture the latest victory, 178-164.

LeBron’s squad made their comeback in the third quarter after being down by as many as 20 points to Giannis’ side. Three-point shooting helped with the comeback, thanks to reserves Klay Thompson and Damian Lillard.

Team LeBron attempted a total of 90 three-point shots for the game, which TNT reported as a new record. Lillard finished with 18 points which were all thanks to his 6-for-17 three-point shooting. Klay added 20 points and shot 7-for-16 overall, with six of those shots from downtown.

NBA All-Star 2019 results: MVP Kevin Durant gets MyTeam Moments card

LeBron James and Kawhi Leonard each scored 19 points in the win. However, it was the Golden State Warriors’ Kevin Durant who captured the NBA All-Star 2019 MVP trophy for the second time in his career. KD finished with 31 points on 10-for-15 shooting and was 6-for-9 from three-point range. Durant also had seven rebounds, two assists, a steal, and two blocks for his latest outing.

Due to his NBA All-Star MVP win, a new NBA 2K19 MyTeam Moments card is now available for Kevin Durant. This one’s a Punk Diamond with a 96 rating for the Warriors’ star. Gamers will be able to find it through All-Star packs, or the auction house, but it could carry a high price.

In addition to the Kevin Durant Moments card shown above, there’s a special NBA 2K19 MyTeam code available on their Twitter here. Gamers can use this to attempt to get any of the All-Star Moments cards that arrived over the past three days. That includes Rising Stars MVP Kyle Kuzma, Skills Challenge winner Jayson Tatum, Three-Point champ Joe Harris, and Slam Dunk winner Hamidou Diallo.
