NBA Live 19 Ratings Update Boosts Klay Thompson, Pascal Siakam As Playoffs Schedule Continues

As the NBA Playoffs are in full swing, certain players are proving why they are the stars of the league today. That includes Golden State’s talented group of All-Star players and Toronto’s new rising star. Other players are showing why they are unsung heroes and making contributions when they can. Of course, there’s also a player or two who just couldn’t get it done in the postseason. With that, a new NBA Live 19 ratings update has adjusted players accordingly.

Klay Thompson among NBA Live 19 ratings boosts in new update

The Golden State Warriors are off to a good start in their Western Conference Finals and NBA title defense. After eliminating arguably their toughest foes in the West, they now lead the Portland Trail Blazers 1-0 so far in that best-of-seven series. Klay Thompson is a key reason why, as he regularly contributes solid scoring efforts alongside Steph and KD.

Thompson scored 26 points in the 116-94 Game 1 win on 10-for-24 shooting. Prior to that, it was back-to-back games with 27 points in victories to close out the Houston Rockets. NBA Live’s crew takes notice of these sorts of solid performances and adjusted him a bit. Thompon’s up by a point to a 92 overall.

Kawhi Leonard and Kyle Lowry are the All-Stars in Toronto, but Siakam is on his way. Kawhi hit that amazing game-winner in Game 7 against the Sixers. Siakam had a double-double with 11 points and 11 boards. Prior to that, he had 21 and 25 points in Game 5 and Game 6 of that series. Siakam is now an 86 overall for NBA Live and seems to be on the upward trend.

Included with those two stars is George Hill of the Milwaukee Bucks. His Game 1 performance against Toronto resulted in just four assists and a rebound However, Hill was scoring in double-digits through the Boston series. That included a performance with 21 points in Game 3, followed by 15 and 16-point performances. He is up one point in Live 19 to an 82.

Butler up, Irving down in ratings update

The playoffs have come to end for some of the league’s biggest stars. That includes Jimmy Butler and Kyrie Irving. Butler’s Philadelphia 76ers were sent home by Kawhi Leonard’s rim-bouncing last-second shot that dropped in. It’s just how the ball bounced, literally, for Butler and the Sixers.

Up until Game 7, Butler had multiple 22-point or better performances in the series. Among his best outings was Game 4 where he put together a double-double of 29 points and 11 boards. “Jimmy Buckets” still received a point boost to become a 91 overall. Now Sixers fans will wonder if he will remain a part of “The Process” in Philly.

Meanwhile, the ratings adjustors downgraded the Boston Celtics’ Kyrie Irving. In fact, he’s the only player they decided to do that for as seen in the full ratings update below.

The No. 1 seed Milwaukee Bucks eliminated the Celtics in five games as it appears Irving and company were just overmatched. After all, they were battling the Greek Freak, a player rated amongst the best in the NBA Live 19. That could mean several players are leaving Boston including their All-Star point guard. Time will tell if Kyrie dons a new NBA jersey in Live 20, but for now, he’s been lowered to a 94 overall after his poor performances against Milwaukee.
