Finally, after a long wait, we will be able to get our hands on Gears 5 next week. What will the game be like? We have some insights which have us feeling more excited than ever, courtesy of Neil Druckmann. The director and writer of The Last of Us and The Last of Us 2 has spoken enthusiastically about the next installation in the Gears series.
What Neil Druckmann Said About Gears 5

This is big praise coming from Neil Druckmann, who is renowned for the wonderful work he has done on TLOU as well as the Uncharted series. Favoring simple storylines and complex characters, Druckmann is a master at drawing players into the minds of a game’s protagonists. If he says that Gears 5 is a “gorgeous” game, that probably means that we have a lot to look forward to in terms of story, characters, environments, and more.
At this point, we still do not know what the Last of Us Part II release date is. But there have been some Last of Us 2 release date rumors pointing toward May 2020. As for Gears 5, it is due to release on September 10th (next week) on Xbox One and PC.
