New Black Ops 4 Zombies Content in Operation Apocalypse Z

Operation Apocalypse Z is the latest addition of new content for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, a continuation of the ongoing Aether Zombies storyline. While it brings new content like multiplayer maps and a new Specialist, it also includes plenty of content for the Black Ops 4 Zombies game mode. This ranges from new Elixirs to a new Perk, and even a whole new Zombies experience called Alpha Omega.

The New Black Ops 4 Zombies Content

First up among the new Black Ops 4 Zombies content now available in Operation Apocalypse Z are two new Elixirs. These function much like the game’s existing Elixirs. However, they provide two new effects for players to make use of. “Head Drama,” causes any bullet you fire which hits a zombie to damage its head; even if it doesn’t actually hit its head. This should help players take down zombies quickly without needing to be highly accurate. The second elixir is “Phoenix Up,” and is especially powerful; it immediately revives all of your teammates! Best of all, teammates keep all of their perks when revived in this way.

Players also have access to a new Perk in Zombies now; an ability called Blood Wolf Bite. This Perk will summon an AI companion wolf called Luna that will fight alongside you. Plus, if you equip Blood Wolf Bite in your modifier slot, Luna becomes even more useful. Any enemies killed by the wolf may drop ammo, points, or power. It won’t be a large amount, but it’s still a useful boon to have.

Of course, perhaps the biggest new release in Operation Apocalypse Z is the new Black Ops 4 Zombies experience itself; Alpha Omega. Continuing the Aether Zombies story with the same cast of characters, Alpha Omega takes place at a very familiar location. The new map is set in the classic Nuketown Call of Duty map, and a Broken Arrow facility at the same site. The experience introduces some new enemies and should give Zombies fans plenty of new content to play through.
