New FIFA 20 VOLTA Gameplay Videos Show Soccer Stars in Action, Global Playground Locations

With the upcoming FIFA 20 VOLTA mode, gamers will be able to take it to the streets. The newest addition to the FIFA game will allow custom-made and real players to assemble for football in a variety of locations. The new mode could be a popular way to allow all types of gamers to participate in FIFA 20’s community-feel. To help promote this new aspect, a batch of new FIFA 20 VOLTA gameplay videos have arrived.

USA Women’s soccer stars in FIFA 20 VOLTA gameplay video

On Sunday, EA Sports FIFA tweeted out a VOLTA gameplay video with the caption “The World is your stadium.” Noticeable in the video are not only the cool custom football courts in the streets, but also the different players involved. Gamers can use stars from the rosters to compete in VOLTA. That includes Team USA Women’s soccer stars such as Alex Morgan and Megan Rapinoe, fresh off their recent FIFA World Cup win. They’re amongst the star players featured in the clip below with gameplay and celebrations.

A longer FIFA 20 VOLTA gameplay video released several days prior. The focus is on the different looks and locations that gamers can use. There are 17 unique football courts to choose from and they include some of the biggest cities around the globe. Gamers can choose to participate in matchups in unique street courts in Chicago, Miami, Tokyo, Lagos, Venice Beach, and more.

Another aspect in the mode is FIFA VOLTA League. This allows gamers to participate online with friends and others. However, the biggest question mark, and possible complaint, from the gaming community on FIFA 20 VOLTA appears to be how friends are in the mode. It looks like FIFA VOLTA will allow for “head-to-head” matchups with peers that you can invite to play, but you can’t team up for games.

That has a lot of gamers disinterested in the mode. It remains to be seen if this is something EA’s FIFA developers can address prior to release to accommodate gamers. The could even build it into a future title update. If not, it may not appear until a future version of the FIFA game.
