Ye who enters here will feast upon some brand new God Eater 3 screenshots and damn, do they look absolutely phenomenal. Bandai Namco’s newest addition to the God Eater franchise is set to be released sometime soon, though an official date has yet to be confirmed. What we do know, however, is that it’ll be coming out on the PS4 and Steam and thankfully won’t be hindered by Code Vein’s delayed release. You can find out more about that here.
We can understand the wariness some fans might have when it comes to linking Code Vein and God Eater 3. Both include features such as creating your own character and harnessing your own abilities, as well as an art style that makes the two games look incredibly familiar.
Regardless, thanks to Bandai Namco, two new screenshots have appeared to show off a new character, as well as an old enemy that many fans of the game will find familiar.
In this new screenshot, you’ll meet the character Zeke Pennywort. Despite the strangely butler-like name, Zeke is introduced as another traveling companion of the protagonist’s. He wields one of the newly introduced deadly AGEs (Adaptive God Eaters), and is described as someone with a ‘lack of manners’ due to the harsh environment he grew up in.
In spite of that, Zeke is said to care deeply about his allies and will forge strong bonds with the people he trusts. But will he count you as being one of those people? We’ll just have to wait and see.
Do you recognize the Aragami, Barbarius? Barbarius is soldier-like with its silver-scaled armor and a terrifying drill as a weapon that he uses to attack enemies blind spots. He can also drill into the ground, generating a block of ice from his cold body to attack the protagonist and their allies. One thing’s for certain, it is best to be prepared when going against someone like this Aragami.
