September 17 marked Auston Matthews’ birthday as the Toronto Maple Leafs and NHL 20 cover star officially turned 22. While he’s young in the world of hockey and just getting started in his career, he certainly knows which all-time greats to include on NHL 20 HUT Featured Squad. The birthday boy appeared in a new video clip on Tuesday to reveal his five players who are ready for battle on the ice.

His squad is led by none other than “The Great One” Wayne Gretzky. Sidney Crosby of the Penguins joins the line along with legend Gordie Howe and defensive star Nikolas Lidstrom. The man between the pipes is yet another of the game’s all-time greats. Matthews has Patrick Roy manning the goal for his NHL 20 HUT Featured Squad this week. With Hockey Ultimate Team, gamers put together a lineup of star players so they can compete. It involves acquiring players through HUT packs, earning them in Ultimate Team, or purchasing them through auction. Gamers are able to go into the game now and use their NHL 20 HUT squads to battle against Auston Matthews’ featured squad.

Each week a new NHL 20 Hut Featured Squad will make its way into the game. They’ll be assembled by NHL players and other celebrities looking to put their best possible lineups on the ice.

The new NHL 20 game is currently available for the Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One. See more details at EA’s official website.
