PGA Tour 2K21 Courses List: East Lake Golf Club, TPC Sawgrass Among Confirmed Courses

When the new PGA Tour 2K21 game officially arrives in August, gamers will be able to play on a number of well-known courses from around the country. They’ll host events from the PGA Tour including The Tour Championship and The Players. We’ve got a list of the playable PGA Tour 2K21 courses and events confirmed for the upcoming game so far.

Playable PGA Tour 2K21 Courses list

Just last week, VGR reported on the arrival of the new PGA Tour 2K21 details including an official game trailer. From the various footage in that trailer, viewers were able to see which PGA Tour 2K21 courses will be present in the game. As mentioned above, these courses will host top PGA events.

One of the first shots showed off Riviera Country Club located in suburban Los Angeles, California. It’s the site of The Genesis Invitational based on what we saw in the trailer. Another part of the trailer shows the 2K21 cover athlete Justin Thomas at the Zurich Classic with a shot of the FedEx Cup logo, indicating that gamers will be vying for that prize.

According to SportsGamerOnline, these are the nine confirmed courses and events they’ll host, so far:

  • Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club in Palm Harbor, Florida – Valspar Championship
  • East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta – The Tour Championship
  • TPC Twin Cities – 3M Open
  • Riviera Country Club in suburban Los Angeles – The Genesis Invitational
  • TPC Deere Run – John Deere Classic
  • TPC Louisiana – Zurich Classic of New Orleans
  • The Oaks Course at TPC San Antonio – Valero Texas Open
  • TPC Sawgrass – The Players
  • TPC Scottsdale – Waste Management Phoenix Open

There will be six other officially licensed courses included in the new game. Some of the others that SGO mentioned as possibilities include TPC Boston, TPC Summerlin, TPC Southwind, and The Atlantic Beach Country Club. All of these courses appeared in The Golf Club 2019 which was the predecessor to the new 2K21 game.

Course Designer feature also available

While there’s a nice selection listed above, gamers probably shouldn’t expect to find every possible course amongst the PGA Tour 2K21 courses. For example, Golf Digest suggests that The Masters or other major tournaments may not appear in the game due to licensing issues. They also indicated that Augusta would have shown up in the trailer as a major course.

In The Golf Club, there was a create-a-course feature. The good news per Golf Digest is there will be a similar course designer feature to help bring more PGA Tour courses to the game. That could allow users to bring their own versions of Augusta National or Pine Valley to the available PGA Tour 2K21 courses.
