PGA Tour 2K21 Switch Physical Edition Copies Are Officially Available
The PGA Tour 2K21 game arrived in late August for all platforms including PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. While it was available in physical edition for PS4 and XBO, it had yet to arrive for the Switch. Now those physical copies have officially become available for sale for the popular Nintendo gaming console.
PGA Tour 2K21 Switch physical copies now online or in stores
2K’s 2021 PGA Tour game officially released back on August 21 for Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC. As of Friday (Sept. 25), PGA Tour 2K21 Switch physical copies become available for purchase. The game had initially only been available in Digital format for Nintendo Switch, but for those who still prefer having a collection of physical games, they can now own that.
It’s available online at Amazon among other retailers. The PGA Tour 2K21 Switch physical edition carries a price of $59.99 at most retailers. It can also be purchased in real-world stores where available including Walmart, Best Buy, Target, and GameStop. Most of those stores will allow for purchase online to ship or for in-person pick-up at the store.
One aspect that Nintendo Switch owners get is the handheld aspect of the game. Thanks to the Switch handheld, gamers can play it on the big screen or handheld console as they wish. There are some trade-offs with that, such as less scenery or no spectators due to the handheld version needing to make some cuts to what it has.
The golf simulation title features cover star Justin Thomas amongst a roster of PGA golfers that you’ll compete against. Gamers create their own MyPlayer who they can take through Career Mode to try to make the Tour and win all the glory. In addition, there are competitive online modes and the ability to customize your own courses or play on courses other creators designed.
For the most part, the game has received favorable reviews so far. The PGA Tour 2K21 Switch version holds a 72 rating based on seven critics’ reviews at Metacritic.
