PlayStation Employee Hints At November Release of PS4 Game, Potentially Dreams

A PlayStation employee hinted on Twitter today about the potential release of a PS4 game in November later this year, potentially Dreams. Yuichi, also known as “InstallBase” on Twitter and Twitch, revealed in a cryptic tweet the hint. His tweet stated about how the release of Days Gone on February 19th, 2019 is “interesting” and that he “wonders what is coming in November of this year.”

It is no surprise that he is commenting on the release date of Days Gone, as that was just revealed earlier today by PlayStation. However, it seems odd that he would immediately compare it to November of all months. That sure seems to hint that something will be arriving during that time from Sony. Most likely, it, too, is a PS4 exclusive much like Days Gone is.

The Last Of Us: Part 2

November is technically not that packed right now with the only confirmed major release being Pokemon Let’s Go! Pikachu and Eevee, but that could certainly change very soon. Many games like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey could find their way there but it does seem like a good spot to put a major exclusive. This is leading many to believe that it will be Dreams, a game that players have been waiting patiently to play for years.

However, Dreams isn’t the only possible exclusive that could show up in November for PS4. There are many rumors circulating that Devil May Cry 5 could be announced at E3 2018 next week to be a PS4 exclusive. That is certainly one game that could go there. Depending on how far along it is, even The Last of Us Part II could be the secret game.

At the very least, there is some supporting evidence that says that Dreams could release in November. For one, it is the only game of the ones we mentioned that is absolutely confirmed to be released in 2018 – barring any surprise delays. Historically, many of Dreams developer Media Molecule’s games have released in November like LittleBigPlanet, LittleBigPlanet 3, and Tearaway. We are sure to find out very soon, though, as E3 2018 is just around the corner.
