PlayStation Plus August 2019 Free Games: August Predictions

You may be aware that a game called Rad is due to release on August 20th for all major platforms. This game is being developed by Double Fine Productions. Featuring another game by Double Fine Productions might be a smart move. So our first prediction for free games in August is Grim Fandango Remastered. As this game previously was free through PS Plus back in 2016, there is precedent, and plenty of time has passed.

Another game coming out on August 30th on all major platforms is The Dark Pictures – Man of Medan. Maybe Sony will feature another game for free by Supermassive Games. One possibility is the crime thriller Hidden Agenda from 2017. This game has never been featured before through the service, so it may be about time.

Our next guess for free games in August would have been Conan Exiles, except that already showed up for free earlier this year. Conan Chop Chop is coming out on September 3rd, so another Conan game also published by Funcom just would’ve made sense. But perhaps we’ll get another Funcom game for free next month, like the first-person horror game, The Park.

Could Grim Fandango Remastered be free through PS Plus in August 2019?

Our last prediction for August 2019 is Hob. This action-adventure game came out in 2017. Developed by Runic Games, it challenges players to explore and try to save a unique world. So why is this a logical choice? Because Torchlight 2 by Runic Games is releasing on September 3rd. So this would be a way for more gamers to discover this developer’s talent and take an interest in Torchlight 2.
