What a treat it is for January in Pokemon GO to start on the right foot. Niantic has begun the new year strong, with a new community day, a Safari Zone and, of course, brand new shinies. To spice things even more, a Pokemon GO Hoenn Event is now underway and it includes more than we could ask. Make sure to read through the details to get the most out of the new event.
For starters, let’s see the specifics. The Pokemon GO Hoenn Event started on January 15th and will run until 29th. As it names indicates, it will include higher chances of catching Hoenn in the wild. Additionally, Hoenn reladed Raid Bosses will be available. In particular, Kyogre and Groudon legendary raids will be extremely popular during these days. However, lower tier raids will be playable for Hoenn as well.
This doesn’t end there though. Niantic is making Hoenn pokemon easier hatchable from eggs and includes new avatar clothing to match the event. As if those weren’t enough, you’ll be able to get Breloom with a Grass Knot exclusive move if you evolve your Shroomish during this month.
Last but not least, Shiny Taillow & Zigzagoon will also be available. Given the fact that higher chances for those species are running through the month, you can be sure that you’ll get your chance at getting one.
What’s even more interesting is the fact that a shiny Feebas event is also underway. This means that with the start of the Pokemon GO Hoenn Event, you have even more chances at getting a shiny Milotic. And oh, what a treat this would be.
To sum things up, you have until January 29th to complete your Hoenn Pokedex. On top of that, get the chance of scoring some shinies for your collection. Don’t forget to focus on their CP too though, since PvP is making Pokemon statistic even more important now. Happy hunting trainers!
