PS5 Activities Feature Leaked

Even though we have a lot of answers now about the PlayStation 5, we still have plenty of questions. There are features we do not know much about, and features which Sony has yet to reveal. But now, we know a little bit more about the PS5 Activities feature due to a recent leak.

What is the PS5 Activities Feature?

Sony has not announced the PS5 Activities feature. Instead, Gamereactor leaked it in a WRC 9 preview article. Even though Gamereactor removed the preview, Gematsu took a screenshot. So, the leak has made its way around. And we now know a little bit about Activities.

Apparently with Activities, you can navigate from the menu to whatever part of a game you want. Hypothetically, you do not even need to download the whole game to do this. Alas, we don’t really know much more than that at this point. We don’t know how it works from a technological standpoint, nor do we know all its applications. In any case, it sounds like it will potentially be pretty cool.

Looking to learn more about other PS5 features? Recently we found out that the PS5 controller will be larger than the compact DualShock 4. Also, there is a patent which hints that there could be a new “interactive guide” feature for PS5.

As you may have heard, Sony is expecting a higher-than-previously-expected demand for the PlayStation 5. As such, the company is ramping up production. Nevertheless, we expect that PS5 units will sell out quickly. So, we suggest that you pre-order the PlayStation 5 as soon as that option becomes available.
