Like the design of the PS5 DualSense controller, but wish that there was a black version instead of just the black and white one we have all seen? Well, a recent rumor suggests that there may be a PS5 DualSense black variant. And there are even some photos you can check out.
Is a PS5 DualSense Black Variant in the Works?
You can take a look at some photos of the black variant of the PS5 controller in the following tweets:
The text of the first tweet reads, “PlayStation 5 DualSense controller has been leaked showing a black variant of the controller. Source is unknown.” The text of the second tweet states, “Here are more shots of the black DualSense controller. The controller seems to be an early prototype rather than the final product. Anyways, in my opinion, I prefer the black and white variant than the full-on black theme. What’s yours?”
Alas, the “full-on black theme” still isn’t full-on black like the controllers we are used to. It has white buttons. Some people might like these, but to others, they look a bit odd. Then again, if this is a prototype, that might not be the plan for the final look of the PS5 DualSense black variant. Maybe those were just the parts available for a quick mock-up.
Even though there are photos, remember that this leak is in no way official, and does not prove the existence of a black variant of the DualSense. Want to find out more about the DualSense?
