Rainbow Six Siege Operation Para Bellum Expansion Gets Its Own Dedicated Info Page

Rainbow Six Siege’s upcoming Operation Para Bellum expansion is now available on the game’s test server, with a full public launch likely happening within the next month or so. If you’re not up to date on all the new features coming in the expansion, or if you just want to refresh yourself while you wait, Ubisoft has put up a dedicated info page that contains everything you need to know.

If you followed our previous coverage, you likely know already about Operation Para Bellum’s new playable operators and other major features. However, Ubisoft’s dedicated info page, which you can find here, acts as a sort of repository for all relevant information on the expansion, including details that were revealed after our initial coverage was published.

Maestro will join the fight in Operation Para Bellum

Naturally, the info page contains a detailed breakdown of the expansion’s two new operators, Alibi and Maestro, along with their weapon loadouts and unique gadgets. It also covers the new Villa map, the new elite gear set for the existing operator Thatcher, the new seasonal weapon skins players will be able to earn, the buffs Ubisoft will be introducing to the existing Clubhouse map, and other miscellaneous improvements that will be coming with the expansion. Such miscellaneous improvements include a pick/ban system that will initially be available in custom games before being introduced in the upcoming Pro League season.

Six different operators will also have one of their existing gadgets replaced with a brand new gadget type: bulletproof cameras. For Frost, Doc, Castle, and Mute, bulletproof cameras will replace their deployable shield gadget. For Vigil and Caveira, bulletproof cameras will be swapped out for their barbed wire gadget.

A formal release date for Operation Para Bellum hasn’t yet been confirmed, though current fan speculation suggests it could be arriving later in June. If you want to try out the new expansion’s features now and you happen to play Rainbow Six Siege on PC, you can do so by signing up for the game’s test server.
