Rumor: PlayStation 5 Reveal Date is in Early 2020

Ever since a patent image of a likely PS5 dev kit leaked a few days back, anticipation for the PlayStation 5 has risen to a fever pitch. And now to add to the hype, we have uncovered a fresh rumor regarding the PlayStation 5 reveal date. If the rumor is to be believed, we might just be getting our first look at the next gen Sony console pretty soon.

Here Is What the PlayStation 5 Reveal Date is Rumored to Be

YouTuber Mystic recently posted a video where he discussed a rumor from 4chan regarding the PlayStation 5 reveal date.

If the rumor is correct, there is supposed to be an event of some nature which will take place on Wednesday, February 12th, 2020. During this event, Ghost of Tsushima and The Last of Us Part II will be showcased on a PlayStation 5. This would give us our first actual look at the system and what it is capable of.

As more news and rumors emerge about next-gen consoles, let’s talk about what we know about PS5 so far.

There is precedent for a February reveal for a PlayStation console, as the same thing took place in 2013 for PlayStation 4. Plus, Sony skipped E3 this year, so might they not do the same next year? If they aren’t going to wait until June, the rumor does seem like it might point toward a likely reveal month.

And what about the PlayStation 5 release date? That too is still a mystery, but it is possible that we could be looking at November 2020 or something in that ballpark.
