Fallout 76 Side Quests: How to Complete Miner Miracles

Among the new weapons and armour found in Fallout 76 is a new type of power armour called Excavator Armour. Although this armour isn’t as strong as more militaristic types of power armour like the T-51b, it is one of the best suits for simply surviving in the wastelands. If you want to learn how to make this new armour type, you’ll need to complete the Fallout 76 Miner Miracles side quest.

How to Complete the Fallout 76 Miner Miracles Side Quest?

The Miner Miracles side quest can be found in the Ash Heap region. When you approach the Garrahan Mining Headquarters, you should receive a miscellaneous objective; “Discover Garrahan Mining’s Innovation,” which will direct you to the site. The Innovation it refers to is, of course, the Excavator Armour. When you reach the facility, be especially cautious; the Mining Headquarters is littered with fragmentation mines. Head inside and look for a terminal where you can read the; “Memo: Excavator Enquiries.”

Once you read the memo, you should start the Miner Miracles quest. The first thing you need to do is find the Project Manager’s Terminal, which can be found in the eastern part of the complex. When you find the terminal you’ll be able to download the Excavator Power Armour plans. You are now able to craft the armour. However, you will likely notice that crafting some of the parts requires some rare ingredients. Namely, Black Titanium and Nuclear Material. These may require some searching, although you can find Black Titanium relatively close by. Leave the Mining Headquarters and travel directly north to the edge of Lewisburg. You can find some Black Titanium near the road around the town’s northwest corner.

To complete the quest, construct a full suit of Excavator Power Armour. Once you have the suit, return to the Mining Headquarters and use a button on the eastern side of the building to register it. This will end the quest and give you some rewards, although the main reward is of course the armour you built along the way.
