Sony May Have Just Revealed What PS5 Graphics Will Be Like

Can’t wait to get a look at PS5 graphics? You’re not alone. A lot of gamers have been asking a lot of questions about the specs and capabilities of the PlayStation 5. So far, Sony has not offered a lot of answers. But now, we may have just gotten a look at what we can expect as far as graphical capabilities—and it is pretty impressive.

Here is a Glimpse of the Future

Sony attended the Inter BEE conference in Tokyo recently. Not familiar with it? You can compare it to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) which takes place in Las Vegas. At the conference, Sony showcased their cutting-edge Crystal LED Display System (CLEDIS). CLEDIS boasts 120 FPS and 8K on a screen measuring a whopping 440 inches (prompting the product tagline, “go big or go bigger”). Below, you can check out the footage they displayed on the CLEDIS.

Keep in mind that it looked more impressive in real-life. After all, this is a recording, so it has lost some quality. Plus, you are watching it on your regular monitor, which lacks the capabilities of the CLEDIS.

The footage sure looks like Grand Turismo. Curiously enough, a few months back, Creator Kazunori Yamauchi reportedly said, “It takes six months to create a single car. It’s over-specced for PS4 Pro. So we are building for future versions of the console rather than the one we see today. I think it would be no problem to run it at 8K even.”

So does that mean that what we saw at the conference in Tokyo was a demonstration of what the PS5 will be capable of? It seems possible at this point. Hopefully, we will be hearing something solid from Sony about the next-gen console soon. Make sure you are keeping up with all of our PlayStation updates so you do not miss anything.
