The podcast features actress Freya Allan, series showrunner Lauren Hissrich, and other members of the show’s production team.

Third Behind-the-Scenes Witcher Podcast Now Available

With the conclusion of this podcast series, fans of Netflix’s The Witcher will have to wait until Netflix releases the next installment of the franchise. However, this may actually be a little closer than expected. While Season 2 of the new series has now entered the earliest stages of production, Netflix today announced Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf. This upcoming production will actually be an anime film, though it’s currently unknown when it will release. Additionally, it’s unknown how the film will tie in to the live-action series.

In the meanwhile, fans can certainly (as many have) return to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The success of the show seems to have caused a resurgence in interest in CD Projekt Red’s acclaimed RPG. Shortly after the show’s release, the game broke a new record for most concurrent players, despite having released years ago. CD Projekt Red actually recently renewed their contract to make Witcher content with author Andrzej Sapkowski. However, now that their secret triple-A game coming in 2021 has been revealed as Cyberpunk Multiplayer, it may be some time before another Witcher game comes along.
