The new engine comes with new tools that allow players to take their own maps to the next level. Besides adding custom 3D objects to Creative maps and previewing them in real-time, the new tools allow players to make their own custom scripts for the game!
In short, players will be able to completely script their games in the Creative mode without the limits of Fortnite. Unreal Engine tools will be integrated into the game allowing players to do whatever they want. Basically, an Unreal Engine editor will be released within the game itself. Players who are creative and skilled with coding will be able to make mind-blowing maps and completely reinvent the game!
Epic Games has confirmed the upcoming Fortnite update
Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney has recently announced that Creative 2.0 is coming to Fortnite in 2022. “One of the things happening in the next year; we hoped to do it this year but it’s coming next year is opening up the Unreal Edit Tools and the new scripting language onto the entire community to build Fortnite content,” Sweeney said.
Previously, the Fortnite creator has showcased the footage of the new creative tools, leaving players amazed. Hopefully, this new Fortnite update will come out in early 2022!
