The Wargroove release window is now available for players to check out. The highly anticipated turn-based strategy title will be releasing in the first quarter of 2019. This means that it will be available between now and the end of March 2019. Unfortunately, we don’t have the exact release date just yet. But this is exciting news for fans of the upcoming game (like us!).
In addition to the Wargroove release window announcement, we also know some more details. The game is set to release around the world, as noted by its language support. Wargroove will support 10 different languages when it releases sometime this quarter. Chucklefish, best known for the beloved farming sim Stardew Valley, is self-developing and publishing the strategy title.
Wargroove Release Window Details

Here are the 10 different languages that players can look forward to having support when Wargroove launches this year:
- English
- German
- Spanish
- French
- Italian
- Brazilian Portuguese
- Russian
- Japanese
- Simplified Chinese
- Traditional Chinese
All 10 of these languages will be available for the game when it launches this year. In addition, developer and publisher Chucklefish will be monitoring player feedback at launch. This will help it decide if there are additional languages it should add.
Better yet, the game will be available on Nintendo Switch, where this author is excited to play it. If you didn’t know already, that system is great for being region-free. If you happen to live in a country where, for some odd reason, Wargroove isn’t available for purchase, you’re not out of luck. You can always purchase it from a different region’s eShop.
For those who don’t know, Wargroove is a turn-based strategy game for up to four players. It is in the veins of the Advance Wars series and the Fire Emblem franchise. There are multiple commanders to choose from, four factions, and the ability to even design your own maps and more.
