Where to Find Fortnite Buried Treasure Map Item

Fortnite Buried Treasure

For starters, we need to explain what’s going on with this week four challenge. Essentially, near the start of season eight, Epic added a new treasure map item. Using this item will show you the location of some buried treasure. Going to this location and getting the treasure will complete this challenge. Well, half of it since you have to do it twice.

But where do you find the Fortnite Buried Treasure map? Well, it can be found on the ground like normal loot and in chests and the like. Unfortunately, it is legendary so it is pretty rare to find. You can go through several buildings and several chests and still not find it. But we do recommend you head to places that aren’t popular so you have plenty of space to find undiscovered loot.

Once you have the Fortnite Buried Treasure map item, you are going to want to tab over to it and hold it in your hands. You can use it to show the way or just look for the glow in the sky marking it near you. Head over there, dig for the chest using your pickaxe, and you’ll be good to go.
