A historic announcement was made on Monday’s episode of WWE Raw which has fans talking. The brand new WWE Women’s Tag Team title belts were officially revealed on the show. There had been WWE rumors of these for quite some time, and now it’s become a reality. Not only that, now there are new Women’s Tag Team Championship belts in the WWE 2K19 game. In addition, 2K is giving fans some more help with how to qualify for that AJ Styles Million Dollar Challenge.

WWE 2K19 Game: Women’s Tag Team Championship belts revealed

As mentioned, WWE Raw featured the historic unveiling of the new championship belts. On television personality and former WWE Raw and Smackdown Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss handled the duties to present the new title belts. The reveal also included an announcement that these belts will be given to the winners of a tournament which ends at WWE’s Elimination Chamber in February.

The announcement is historic in that the last time there was a Women’s Tag Team Championship was back in 1989 with WWF. It lasted six years with tag teams including Jumping Bomb Angels and The Glamour Girls winning the belts during their time.

The WWE’s Elimination Chamber is weeks away, as the next pay-per-view is WWE Royal Rumble next week. That will feature a women’s Royal Rumble match, among others. Gamers are already simulating their version of the match on 2K19.

The Elimination Chamber matchups aren’t known just yet. However, one fan has put up a nice version of the Women’s tag team title belts on the WWE 2K19 game. These are available through the Community Creations area of the menu. WWE 2K praised the creator for bringing them to the game so quickly.

As seen above, simply search for “WhatsTheStatus” in the Community area to find the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship belts. Fans can now decide who they want as their women’s tag team champions. Will it be Nia Jax and Tamina, a team of Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, or perhaps one that isn’t part of the roster right now?

WWE 2K19 Game’s Million Dollar Challenge Tips

In addition to the reveal of WWE 2K19 game content, they also provided some more tips for conquering the AJ Styles Million Dollar Challenge. The new video checks in at over a minute. It provides a good number of useful tips for getting through the challenge successfully. That includes tips about crowd taunts, paybacks, and conserving energy for matches.

The AJ Styles Million Dollar Tower is a new part of the WWE 2K19 game exclusive to this year’s title. Competitors have to defeat a number of superstars in order to ultimately face a Golden AJ Styles. Once they’ve conquered the challenge, it’s a matter of recording a promo video to call out Styles. Check out Xavier Woods’ promo video tips for help with that.

Ultimately, there will be a small tournament involving several competitors who complete the challenge and are picked out of the promo videos. The winner of that tournament goes on to battle the real AJ Styles in person (on the game, of course).

The Challenge is only available until January 31, so there’s just a bit of time left to enter. The tournament and matchup against Styles himself go down during WrestleMania weekend this April.
