Here’s what went down for the WWE 2K19 Million Dollar Challenge Finals results.

As mentioned days ago, The Miz was coaching a semi-finalist and that was none other than The Golden Voice. Miz’s mentoring seemed to give Benson the necessary confidence in advancing to the finals. His promo skills weren’t all that bad either. However, there was no Miz around as he took on the real-life AJ Styles in the finals. Xavier Woods and Corey Graves hosted the finals in front of the Barclays Center crowd in Brooklyn, New York ahead of the TakeOver PPV.

It was a battle involving Brock Lesnar and AJ Styles in the WWE 2K19 video game in Brooklyn, New York. The two gamers competed up on stage in a no disqualification match with a 10-minute time limit. The only way to win was by pinfall or submission. The Golden Voice went with “The Beast” Brock Lesnar, while Styles went with who else but himself.

Once things were officially underway, Golden Voice took AJ to Suplex City inside the virtual ring. The real AJ Styles didn’t have any counters in his virtual self. Benson would hit multiple moves including Power Bombs to finish off AJ in the game. It basically took the gaming expert about a minute and a half to win the match and the cool cash prize. Following the match, he posed in his golden attire along with his check.

Four semi-finalists made the trip to New York, but only one would emerge as the top contender.  Other semi-finalists included David Hoey of Sydney, Australia and Roman Drobard of Pfalzfeld, Germany. Gregory Davis was the other contender from the United States, hailing from Jacksonville, Florida. However, Philadelphia’s Benson came out on top of all competitors over the past several months since the game’s release, and over the past few days.

Just like Golden Voice had a WWE superstar as a coach so did the other contenders. Hoey was teamed with Ember Moon, Gregory Davis had Paige as coach. Both Big E and Kofi Kingston were coaches for Roman Drobard. Ultimately, it came down to Hoey taking on Golden Voice for the right to battle AJ Styles. Golden Voice would win the matchup and then defeated the game’s cover athlete in quick fashion.

The big contest was part of the WWE 2K19 video game which arrived last October. Gamers needed to defeat the WWE 2K19 Million Dollar Tower in the game which included a Golden AJ Styles as the last superstar. Once that was done, each gamer had to record a promo video of themselves as their entry into the contest. Ultimately, these four finalist remained after months of competition.

Congratulations are certainly in order for WWE 2K19 Challenge winner The Golden Voice. In his previous comments Benson said if he won the money his plans were to “take care of my family and go VIP/ first row to every WWE Event possible!” Looks like we’ll be seeing him at a lot more events live in person!
