With the release of the new WWE 2K19 standard edition, fans are buzzing about all of the great new features. One of the new parts of the game that even Ted Dibiase would love is the WWE 2K19 Million Dollar Challenge. This is a special contest where gamers will attempt to defeat a series of challenges in the game. Ultimately, those who qualify have a shot at facing cover athlete AJ Styles, controlled by himself, as the Million Dollar prize match! Here are details on how to enter as well as AJ’s thoughts about it.

How to Enter the WWE 2K19 Million Dollar Challenge

On Tuesday (Oct. 9), 2K announced that with the release of the standard edition, the Million Dollar Challenge is now underway. Gamers will need to read official rules, and then sign up to be a part of the contest by heading to 2K’s website.

From there, it will involve defeating the “Million Dollar Tower” within WWE 2K19. Only gamers on Sony PlayStation 4 or Microsoft’s Xbox One consoles are able to qualify. Sorry, PC gamers.

Those who successfully beat this challenge, and word is it’s quite a challenge, will then have several more steps. They need to create their own “winning promo video.” In that video, they’ll talk about how they will defeat “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles in the game.

Gamers need to make sure the “Million Dollar Dominance Victory” screen from the game is at the beginning of the video, with gamer tag on clear display. From there, they’ll submit the video online for 2K’s review.

Semifinalists for the Million Dollar Challenge are contacted by March 1, 2019. At that time, they’ll learn if they’re part of a tournament for the grand prize. A total of four semifinalists will compete in the tournament during WrestleMania 35 weekend.

The finale will take place ahead of next year’s WrestleMania 35 pay-per-view at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Mania is set to go forth on Sunday, April 7th.

Styles ready for WWE 2K19 Million Dollar Challenge

The winning gamer with the best promo is going to take on AJ Styles controlling himself in the game for a chance to win a million dollars. It’s a great prize just meeting the longtime WWE Champion, but also getting a shot at some life-changing money. Styles has already made it clear he won’t make it easy for the winner who tries to claim that prize money, though.

The Daily Star captured some of his AJ’s comments about video games and 2K19. He’s an avid gamer who has his own YouTube channel about games and loves to play different titles in his downtime. His all-time favorite wrestling title is All Japan Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 for the N64. Fans better believe he’ll be practicing WWE 2K19, though.

AJ told The Star that “This tower is no joke,” and added that “very few people that make the game can beat it.” Styles also said “they are going to legit have to beat me” to win that prize money.
