WWE 2K19 Rising Stars Pack: Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai Entrance Videos Revealed For DLC

The excitement of the WWE 2K19 Rising Star pack continues as fans await the new content for the wrestling game. Just last week, 2K revealed the first of the entrance videos for one pair of superstars. In addition, fans learned the release date and some of the superstars available in the new pack. Now there are new WWE 2K19 Rising Star entrance videos for Candice LeRae and Dakota Kai.

WWE 2K19 Rising Stars Pack: Dakota Kai

Last week fans saw the first entrance video for Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis Bennett as the lead-off for the upcoming WWE 2K19 Rising Stars pack. That initial video also gave a glimpse of five other superstars who mostly are members of the NXT roster right now. They include Dakota Kai whose 2K19 entrance video dropped last night on Twitter and other social media.

Kai hails from Auckland, New Zealand and is definitely a fan favorite. However, it’s unknown how kind or unkind 2K19 will be to her in terms of her superstar ratings. She currently appears with NXT as well as the NXT UK brand. She was able to debut as part of the WrestleMania 34 Women’s Battle Royal back in April of last year. Kai picked up victories in NXT over the months against a number of competitors. She’s also competed in a dark match at WWE’s all women’s pay-per-view Evolution. So it should be interesting to see what her starting number is for ratings in the game.

WWE 2K19 Rising Stars Pack: Candice LeRae

The other notable Rising Stars superstar entrance video is Candice LeRae. She’s been within NXT a bit longer than Dakota Kai now and is the real-life wife of fellow NXT superstar Johnny Gargano. Since she’s been at ringside for his matches against several competitors including Tommaso Ciampa. She also teamed up with Johnny and fought solo battles, so it makes sense to get her into the game now too. Here’s a look at her entrance in 2K19 for the new Rising Stars DLC pack.

As seen in the entrance video, there’s new commentary included from Graves which mentions Johnny Gargano, giving Candice’s entrance a unique feel to it. What’s also interesting with LeRae’s entrance is 2K is using her “outdated” theme song as some fans have mentioned on Twitter. However, a lot of fans prefer “Stars in the Show” over her current theme music, so it seems like a win in that regard.

The WWE 2K19 Rising Stars pack is officially available for purchase and download on Tuesday, January 22.
