WWE 2K19 Roster Reveal Part 2 Includes AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, John Cena, And More

On Thursday (Sept. 6), the second installment of the WWE 2K19 roster reveal live streamed on Twitch, the WWE 2K website, and other platforms. Rusev and Lana were once again hosting the show, but this time they invited Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows to help out. They provided some comedic relief as well as anecdotes regarding some of the playable superstars. Among the superstars revealed was the cover athlete and reigning WWE Champion AJ Styles, as well as the roster, reveal hosts.

In a previous WWE 2K19 roster reveal about a week ago, 2K revealed 75 playable superstars. They included a variety of superstars from WWE’s NXT, Raw, and SmackDown Live rosters. That was the case once again on Thursday with the second reveal. However, there were just over 40 playable superstars named including Lana, Rusev, Gallows, and Anderson. Lana joins this year’s game for her in-ring superstar debut.

Cover athlete AJ Styles was the first superstar revealed with Karl Anderson providing a great imitation of AJ’s voice. Among the other highlights were Shinsuke Nakamura, The New Day, Bludgeon Brothers, The Usos, and The Miz. At the very end of the live stream, other superstar names were displayed on the screen. That included John Cena who fans didn’t see discussed during the video. Below are the WWE 2k19 roster superstars named on Thursday.

In terms of 305 Live superstars, reveals arrived for Tony Nese, Drew Gulak, Lince Dorado, Jack Gallagher, and Ariya Davari.

Daniel Bryan was revealed, but just like Styles, he’s not a major surprise. Bryan will be part of the new WWE 2k19 “Showcase Mode” which allows gamers to check out his return to the ring. There will be vignettes and “historic WWE footage” about Bryan’s career included making this one of the new highlights of the WWE 2K19 video game.

Still missing from the list is The Undertaker, who recently appeared on WWE Raw this past week to promote an upcoming match against Triple H. It would be surprising if he’s not part of the WWE 2K19 roster.

The full WWE 2K19 roster reveal (part 2) is available via the YouTube video below.

In addition to these playable superstars, 2K is slowly revealing WWE 2K ratings for them. So far only a batch has been announced via the WWE 2K Twitter. They’ve included Styles, Undisputed Era, Finn Balor, Kairi Sane, and Braun Strowman. Fans are continuing to debate whether each superstar’s ratings are accurate.

It’s now under a month away. The WWE 2K19 video game will officially arrive on October 5th for the Deluxe or Collector’s Edition. As of October 9th, the standard edition of the game drops for professional wrestling fans to enjoy.
