WWE 2K19 Tournament Turmoil Bracket Predictions For March Madness Matchups With Superstars

On Sunday, college basketball teams and their fans learned of their spots in the 2019 NCAA Tournament. Once that begins this coming Thursday, 64 teams will be competing with one emerging as the champion. The WWE 2K19 crew seems to be in the spirit of that competition with their own March Madness event. As of Monday (Mar. 18), they unveiled the bracket for WWE 2K19 Tournament Turmoil featuring an appropriate number of WWE superstars.

WWE 2K19 Tournament Turmoil bracket reveals current stars, legends

The big WWE 2K19 Tournament Turmoil includes a total of 64 superstars, just like the NCAA Tournament will have 64 teams. It’s got the biggest names in the business for the men’s division. It’s full of mostly newer superstars in the brackets as there are regions for Raw, SmackDown Live, and NXT.

There’s also a WWE Legends bracket. It includes the likes of Ric Flair, Undertaker, Macho Man, Andre the Giant, Stone Cold, and Dusty Rhodes. Even John Cena is visible there. That’s an interesting part of the bracket in terms of who might advance to the final four.

Also of note, Tommaso Ciampa is not part of the field as he’s not included in the official WWE 2K19 roster. That’s a shame as even though he is injured, the NXT Champion is a worthy competitor for this sort of tournament.

It appears they’ll play out the matches in conjunction with days of NCAA Tournament games, and ultimately will have their Tournament Turmoil winner on April 8.

WWE 2K19 Tournament Turmoil predictions

So who are we predicting for the WWE 2K19 Tournament Turmoil? In the Raw region, let’s go with an upset winner as Drew McIntyre gets past “The Beast” Brock Lesnar. In the SmackDown Live region, it’s hard to bet against the Gold AJ Styles. Velveteen Dream is the smart pick in the NXT region.

As for the Legends, it’s a tough one, but we’re taking The Rock to stomp the competition. His second-round matchup against rival John Cena should be an interesting one. However, it’s hard to not be excited by a lot of dream matchups out of that Legends bracket.

As for a winner, AJ Styles is the cover athlete, so it’s gotta be his Gold version taking the title. It makes sense for him to win ahead of his big matchup at WrestleMania against one lucky gamer. However, we wouldn’t be upset it any of our Final Four picks take the championship here!
