Xbox All Access Details Leak, Bundling Together Console, Game Pass, and Xbox Live

It seems that the rumors could be true, as more details have leaked about the Xbox All Access program. This new monthly subscription plan from Microsoft is built with the modern consumer who doesn’t currently own an Xbox One in mind, as it bundles together an Xbox One console, Game Pass, and Xbox Live Gold into one package.

Essentially, Xbox All Access is more akin to what some phone carriers have recently begun offering. For one low monthly price, you get all three of those together. This essentially allows you to own an Xbox One and all of the games that are offered under Game Pass and Free Games With Gold without spending a ton of money from the start.

Fallout 4 Was Originally Set in New York, Not Boston

Xbox All Access name and details were leaked in a recent post from VentureBeat. According to its report, the program will offer the three items in one of two subscriptions. The first option is to own an Xbox One X with 4K capabilities and more, while the second is for an Xbox One S. The Xbox One X subscription runs for $35 a month for two years, while the Xbox One S version is $22 a month for two years.

The first plan comes out to a total of $840 that the consumer will spend by the end of the two years. While that sounds like a lot of money considering that the console itself is less than half of that, it isn’t actually a bad deal. If you factor in the base price of $10 a month for Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold each, that price comes out to just over $840. With the Xbox One S bundle, you are actually saving a bit of money.

These calculations are, of course, barring any occasional deals like sales. It does help that Xbox All Access gives you access to many different Xbox One games right out of the box without paying any extra money. With Game Pass included, you automatically get access to games like The Division, Fallout 4, State of Decay 2, and many more.
