New Xbox Games with Gold for July 2018 Revealed

It’s that time of month again, where Microsoft has revealed the newest set of Xbox One Games with Gold 2018 titles. July’s jam-packed with some good games, so if you picked up the free PlayStation Plus July 2018 games already, now it’s time for your Xbox One to tag in. The Xbox One Games with Gold July 2018 lineup has some great choices, especially for older games that you may not have had a chance to get to yet.

Cactus

If you’re a stealth fan, you can pick up Splinter Cell: Conviction, one of the last Splinter Cell titles to be released. It’s been a quiet few years for Sam Fisher, but you can help him get back on the horse with this entry, free of charge. If you’re a more in-your-face kind of person with a lot of issues you’d love to work out in the ring, then you should absolutely try Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown, the latest entry in the Virtua Fighter series.

Xbox One

  • Available for the whole month – Assault Android Cactus (normally $14.99)
  • From July 16 to August 15 – Death Squared (normally $14.99)

Xbox 360

  • From July 1 to 15 – Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown (normally $14.99) (plays on Xbox One)
  • From July 16 to 31 – Splinter Cell: Conviction (normally $19.99) (plays on Xbox One)

Assault Android Cactus is another cool title that’s for Xbox One users only, as is Death Squared, both relatively unknown games, but well worth downloading for free. The average cost of each free game on the service right now is around $15 to $20, so think about what you’re getting in return for having Xbox Live Gold throughout the year.

Make sure you grab all the games you can for free, as you’ll be able to play them, keep them, and redownload them as much as you want while you have an active membership. It’s well worth the extra cost per year, if you play a lot of games, anyway.
