Orsinium Celebration: Special Elder Scrolls Online Event and DLC Sale

Less than a week after starting the Midyear Mayhem event, Bethesda has announced another special event in Elder Scrolls Online. The Orsinium Celebration event is due to start next week; on the 2nd of August. The event is themed around the Orsinium DLC, celebrating the anniversary of its release. In addition to a major sale, the event includes special rewards for players in Wrothgar as part of “Wrothgar’s Bounty”.

The Orsinium Celebration Event

The Orsinium Celebration event is due to start at 3:00PM BST on Thursday, the 2nd of August. It will run until Monday the 13th, and also end at 3:00PM BST. During that time, Bethesda is celebrating the release of the Elder Scrolls Online’s Orsinium DLC; the DLC game pack, as well as the Collector’s Bundle, will both be on sale in the Crown Store. The game pack itself will be reduced to 750 crowns. Overall, that’s a sale price reduction of 75%. Similar to the upcoming Wolfhunter DLC, the Orsinium DLC adds a new area; Wrothgar, along with two public dungeons, and other features, including the Maelstrom Arena.

Wrothgar's Bounty Will Offer Bonus Rewards for Players in Wrothgar

The Orsinium Collector’s Bundle will be reduced to 2,000 Crowns. (A 60% total sale price reduction.) That bundle contains the DLC, five Crown Experience Scrolls, a Cave Bear mount, and a Cave Bear Cub pet. During the sale, the Pariah’s Pinnacle home and the Malacath’s Chosen Furnishing Pack will return to the Crown Store for the duration of the event.

In addition to the sale, Bethesda is also running “Wrothgar’s Bounty”. This part of the event offers special rewards for players adventuring in the region of Wrothgar. The number of reward boxes for completing the region’s daily quests will be doubled, as will the rewards from Maelstrom Arena chests. This includes Transmute Crystals and Maelstrom Weapons, but the Maelstrom Arena rewards are only doubled on Normal and Veteran difficulties. Finally, items gained from crafting nodes will also be doubled. This includes jewelry seams, but not Survey Report nodes.
