Tomorrow, the first week of the currently-ongoing Apex Legends System Override event comes to an end, and the second week will be bringing a map change along with it. The Deja Loot game mode, which is only available to play during System Override, will shift over from World’s Edge to the classic King’s Canyon map. As such, players will need to learn an all-new set of loot spawns.
Apex Legends System Override – Deja Loot Shifts to King’s Canyon
The Apex Legends System Override Collection Event is the first big event of the game’s 4th season. Like previous Collection Events, it includes a new game mode which is only available to play during the event. In this case that mode is “Deja Loot”. In this mode, players drop into the match as normal, and most parameters are the same. However, instead of random loot spawns, all loot on the map is fixed. In Deja Loot matches, you can expect to find the exact same loot in the exact same locations every time. In fact, even the ring pattern in Deja Loot is the same in each 24-hour period. Throughout the first week of the event, Deja Loot has been set on the World’s Edge map, but that changes from tomorrow.
As of the 10th of March, Deja Loot will be shifting over to the King’s Canyon map. This time, the map is returning after just a two-week absence. Indeed, even after System Override ends, King’s Canyon will be coming back in less than a week’s time. On the 23rd of March, the first half of Ranked Series 3 will end. The second half will feature King’s Canyon, until it too comes to an end on the 5th of May. As for Deja Loot, the shift to a new map means that players will have an all-new selection of loot to find and memorise.

Deja Loot will only be available to play for one more week. Once the System Override event comes to an end on the 17th, it will be removed from the game. That means players only have one more week to try out the new Evo Shields. (Not to mention unlock any of the remaining event cosmetics which they haven’t gotten yet!) Remember that if you can unlock all of the System Override event cosmetics before the event ends, you’ll get the Octane Heirloom set for free.
