Activision Teases Upcoming Content for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4

Although Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is now only a few months away from release, fans of the series still have plenty of new content to sink their teeth into in Black Ops 4. Of course, Operation Apocalypse Z, the latest content release in the Aether Zombies series, launched last week. However, Apocalypse Z will actually be continuing for the next few months, with even more content set to arrive throughout. Although neither Treyarch nor Activision have revealed everything of what’s on the way, they did recently offer fans a few teasers.

What’s Coming for Black Ops 4 as Operation Apocalypse Z Continues

All told, fans currently have access to a wide variety of new content in the initial release of Operation Apocalypse Z. The release includes a new Specialist who is a returning character from Black Ops 3, a ton of new Black Market content, three new multiplayer maps, a new Zombies experience, and plenty more. However, Activision also released a brief teaser of what fans can look forward to in the coming weeks and months.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Upcoming Content

“Expect a host of other content in the coming weeks as Operation Apocalypse Z continues,” they wrote; “Here’s some of what to expect: A new alt map for Multiplayer, Jungle Flooded will take the battle partially underwater. Pandemic, and all-new game where players must survive the zombie horde, will be available in Blackout. Plus, more party game modes like Gun Game and Infection will return later in the Operation.”

Of course, Activision is currently building up hype for the upcoming release of Modern Warfare. However, it looks like franchise fans should have plenty to keep them occupied while they wait. Fans recently got to see the first gameplay reveal for Modern Warfare through a partnership between Activision and content creators. However, a larger gameplay reveal is due to take place on the 1st of August.
