Akiem Hicks, Johnathan Joseph Among New Madden 21 Veterans in Ultimate Team
Wild Card Wednesday brought a new group of player cards into the mix for Madden 21 Veterans. A total of five veteran stars are part of the latest release with Akiem Hicks and Johnathan Joseph amongst the standouts. Here’s a look at the latest Madden 21 Ultimate Team release including costs for the packs and various players.
Akiem Hicks and Johnathan Joseph are Madden 21 Veterans standouts
Each Wednesday, the Madden 21 video game features “Wild Card Wednesday” which brings Veterans, Heavyweights, or other programs. This Wednesday is Veterans and we’ve got some great ones.
The 6-foot-4 Akiem Hicks started his career with the New Orleans Saints before eventually finding his way to Chicago in 2016. He’s now a defensive presence at Soldier Field and elsewhere, helping the Bears keep opponents at bay.
Hicks leads the new Madden 21 Veterans based on a 10-year career in the league. His new card has 93 Play Recognition, 91 Strength, 90 Block Shedding, and 88 Tackling amongst key attributes.
Johnathan Joseph is also part of the group and plenty of gamers will love this card. Joseph, a 15-year veteran in the league, gets 90 Play Recognition, 88 Speed, 88 Man Coverage, 87 Zone Coverage, and 86 Jumping. Here’s a look at both cards revealed on the Good Morning Madden Twitch stream.
Joining Hicks and Joseph are three more Madden 21 Veterans players: New York Giants wide receiver Golden Tate III, NY Jets halfback Frank Gore, and Cleveland Browns LOLB Malcolm Smith. Each gets a new 89 card for the program, giving Ultimate Team gamers some more options, especially if they’re building a theme team for any of these teams.
Pack costs and auction listing prices
Both the Madden 21 Veterans and Heavyweights packs sell for 3,800 Madden Training at the Store. The good news is if you don’t pull the player you want from a pack, the player cards also have a 3,600 Training Quicksell value.
At the Madden Auction Browser, gamers use bidding or a “Buy Now” to get them. Frank Gore is currently going for 170,000 Madden Coins. Golden Tate is up to 170,000 on PS4 or 188,000 on Xbox One. Joseph is going for around 168,000 on Xbox One or 189,000 on the PS4. Akiem Hicks is getting 176-180,000 Madden Coins on either console.
