With the season’s launch now just one week away, Respawn has announced that the studio will be releasing the Apex Legends Season 5 launch trailer tomorrow, on the 5th of May. The trailer will give fans their first look at the new content coming in the season, including Loba, and possibly the new ‘Quest’ system.
The Apex Legends Season 5 Launch Trailer
Respawn has announced that the Apex Legends Season 5 launch trailer will release on YouTube tomorrow, the 5th of May, at 10:00 AM PT. The studio teased the release earlier today on social media, stating; “When Revenant killed Marcos Andrade all those years ago, he left loose ends. Now she’s all grown up”. This statement strongly implies that the trailer will focus on Loba, the new Legend coming in Season 5. While Respawn has released a story trailer for Loba, the studio has yet to show off any gameplay footage of her. Similarly, her abilities have yet to be revealed.
The Apex Legends Season 5 launch trailer may also give players a look at the new Quest system which will debut in the new season. Although Season 5 will be the first that won’t be adding a new weapon to Apex Legends, it will launch a new ‘Quest’ system. The details of this system have yet to be revealed by Respawn. All that the studio has said of this so far is; “Hunt for treasures and answers in the new Season Quest. Those who complete this journey will be richly rewarded.”
The new season will also launch alongside Apex Legends Ranked Series 4. Series 3, last season, featured several major changes. However, Series 4 will be much the same as its predecessor, as Respawn feels that things are still working well. Of course, the season will have its own Battle Pass too, with over 100 exclusive items included as rewards. All of this will be available when Season 5 launches on the 12th of May.
