Bethesda Wants Player Feedback For the Fallout 76 Events

So far, player feedback has played a major positive role in helping Bethesda identify and address bugs and exploits in Fallout 76; something which Bethesda acknowledged and thanked players for in their latest news post. In that same post, the studio also asked more directly for player feedback concerning the Fallout 76 events. The studio wants to hear players’ thoughts for improvements and changes so that they can make meaningful changes going forward.

Bethesda Wants to Know What Players Think of the Fallout 76 Events

The request for feedback came in Bethesda’s latest entry of their ongoing ‘Inside the Vault‘ news blog. In the same post, the studio gave fans some details of the next upcoming patch, and also discussed their plans for targeting exploits and those abusing them. After thanking players for providing useful feedback, the studio turned to the topic of Fallout 76 events; “As we’ve stated time and again,” reads the post; “your feedback is crucial to making appropriate changes and improving the overall player experience. This week we’d like to hear your thoughts specifically on in-game Events. Specifically, aspects of Events that you really enjoy and want to see us double down on, and areas we can improve.”

Bethesda Wants Feedback on Fallout 76 Events

Bethesda recommends that players post their thoughts on Reddit or the Bethesda forums on a specific thread. The studio also provides a list of six specific questions which they’re hoping that fans will answer. These questions are as follows:

  1. Which events do you feel are most rewarding to you?
  2. Which events do you not care about or dislike? Why?
  3. Which events do you prefer to play in a team vs. solo? Why?
  4. What types of events would you like to see in the game?
  5. How do you join events? Do you fast travel? Do you go to a location expecting to start an event?
  6. How would you feel about bonuses for completing a daily or weekly event?

According to Bethesda, the developers are currently working on improvements for players entering events partway through; “We know it can be disheartening to spend your hard-earned Caps travelling to a location,” they explain; “only to discover upon arrival that the Event has already concluded. We’re still working through this to come up with a resolution.”
