The highly-anticipated second episode of CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire series has now been announced, and will air in just a few days’ time. Covering a range of new topics, the second episode will air at 18:00 PM CEST on the 10th of August.
Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire Episode 2
The first episode of Night City Wire aired around a month ago. It served to reveal a host of new information about Cyberpunk 2077, including the release of a new trailer. The episode also contained the announcement of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, an upcoming Netflix anime series. As a result, fans have been eagerly awaiting the next episode in the Night City Wire series. Now, at last, it’s only a few days away.
According to CD Projekt Red, episode 2 of Night City Wire will cover a host of new topics not covered in the first installment. In fact, it sounds as though episode 2 will actually focus much more on gameplay mechanics than the first did. “This time we’ll share details about Lifepaths,” said CD Projekt Red, on Twitter; “show you the types of weapons you will be using in the game, and discuss Refused’s transformation into SAMURAI!”
For those who are unaware, Refused is the real-life punk band who will be providing the music for the Cyberpunk 2077 in-game band SAMURAI; the band which is fronted by Keanu Reeves’ character Johnny Silverhand. CD Projekt Red has already released three Refused songs which will feature in the upcoming game’s soundtrack by Refused. The latest of these was The Ballad of Buck Ravers, released shortly after the last Night City Wire episode. At present, it’s unknown just how many episodes of Night City Wire there will be. However, with the game’s release date now just a few months away, CD Projekt Red are likely to start releasing more and more info about the game.
