Destiny 2: Here Are The New Gambit Prime Armor Perks

Destiny 2’s Season of the Drifter is now live, bringing with it Gambit Prime, new pinnacle weapons, and more. In Gambit Prime, players can specialize in one of four roles and earn matching armor with unique perks. Thanks to a new Gambit Prime trailer, we now know what those role-specific perks are.

Destiny 2 Gambit Prime Armor Perks

Destiny 2 Gambit Prime armor perks

While players are free to mix and match armor pieces for different roles, sticking with one role is usually better. The more role-specific armor pieces you equip, the more perks you have access to. Equip enough pieces of a role-specific armor set and you unlock that set’s colored aura and accompanying pinnacle perk.

The below Gambit Prime trailer shows the four perks for each role-specific armor set. Since you only need four armor pieces to get all the perks, a full set isn’t required. Armor pieces are found in Gambit Prime matches and also earned in The Reckoning PvE experience.

Reaper Perks

  • High-value targets you damage are weakened.
  • Multikills generate special ammo for you and your team.
  • Motes dropped by enemies you kill last longer before despawning, giving your team more time to pick them up.
  • Killing powerful enemies makes your grenade recharge more quickly.

Collector Perks

  • You drop any motes you’re carrying when you die, allowing teammates to pick them up.
  • Picking up motes grants you an overshield.
  • You gain ammo when you deposit motes.
  • You can carry up to 20 motes at a time and deposit them for ultra-powerful 20-mote blockers.

Sentry Perks

  • Multikills increase your damage output against Taken enemies.
  • The mote bank grants health generation to you and your team.
  • Invading players are marked for your team.
  • Allies standing in the Well of Light gain a powerful buff.

Invader Perks

  • You gain ammo whenever you invade.
  • Your invasion overshield can absorb more damage.
  • Killing enemy players while invading grants you a damage bonus.
  • Whenever you invade, the enemy team’s bank locks up and you drain motes from it by standing near it.
