DICE Details All Currently Known Issues With Battlefield 5

With Battlefield 5 now playable for subscribers to EA Access and Origin Access, DICE has released information on a number of Battlefield 5 problems which the studio is investigating. While many problems were fixed following the open beta, that event was some time ago. As such, it’s no surprise that there are still some issues at launch. However, it seems that DICE is actively working to fix them, and wants fans to know as much.

All Battlefield 5 Problems Known on All Platforms

The complete list of problems published by DICE is divided into four categories; issues known on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and issues which occur on all platforms. In the case of most of these issues, the studio notes where they stand on a solution. Many merely list that they are currently under investigation. Nonetheless, DICE notes some which will have a fix coming when the game launches on the 20th of November. Some more troublesome Battlefield 5 problems have a fix planned to come as part of the Chapter 1 update of TidesĀ of War. This is scheduled to arrive in December, but no specific release date has been announced yet.

DICE is Hard at Work Fixing Battlefield 5 Problems

One issue from the list worth noting is “missing pre-order items or edition items”; as DICE points out, this may well not be a problem at all. Rather, players may simply be unaware that such items will not be available on consoles until the 15th of November. They should have become available on PC on the 9th. If the items still haven’t appeared past those dates, then you may wish to contact the studio for assistance.

Fortunately, the studio has clearly had plenty of time to address some of the problems which emerged during the BETA. It seems that the decision to delay the game’s release to November has proven to be a wise one. The game is set to release for everyone on the 20th of November.
