Dwyane Wade, Dirk Nowitzki Play Final Games As NBA 2K19 Honors Their Careers
The 2018-19 NBA season officially came to a close on Wednesday, April 10, for many teams. There will be just 16 teams that participate in the NBA Playoffs, with the Miami Heat and Dallas Mavericks not part of the picture. These teams’ two legendary stars and future Hall of Famers, Dwyane Wade and Dirk Nowitzki, played in what is expected to be the final games of their memorable careers. As a tribute to the players and the legacies they will leave in basketball, the NBA 2K19 MyTeam crew is giving gamers some special content.
NBA 2K19 MyTeam Releases Wade, Nowitzki Moments Challenges & Cards
The NBA 2K19 MyTeam feature now includes two special Moments Challenges in the game. One of those is regarding the Heat’s Dwyane Wade who had a triple-double in his final NBA game. All that’s required to complete the Wade Moments Challenge is to score 30 points with any player and win the game. The resulting reward is a Dwyane Wade Signature Series pack featuring five cards.
Dirk Nowitzki scored 30 points in his final game, a win against the Phoenix Suns. For the Dirk Moments Challenge, gamers need to do the same. Simply score 30 points with any player and win the game. The reward for completing this challenge is handsome, as you’ll get 20 NBA MyTeam Tokens.
You can find these challenges by visiting the NBA 2K19 Single Player menu and going to “Challenges.” Keep in mind that both of these challenges will take place using All-Star Difficulty level.
NBA 2K19 MyTeam Pink Diamond Cards
In addition to the new Moments Challenges, NBA 2K19 MyTeam has Pink Diamond Legacy Moments cards availablef. The Dwyane Wade is a 98 OVR and the Dirk Nowitzki is a 97 OVR. Gamers can purchase Heat Check or League Moments packs for a shot at the Wade or Dirk cards.
Those are just several of the Pink Diamond cards available right now in League Moments Packs too. NBA 2K19 unveiled the League Moments Super Pack. It features potential for one of the 27 Pink Diamonds or one of 46 Diamond cards from the past season.
