Just recently, EA Sports revealed their NHL 19 Team of the Year lineup featuring the best-of-the-best in the game today. The new roster comes not long after the Young Guns TOTY lineup was revealed which included young stars in the game today. Now we’re seeing the top North American stars of the league including the Blackhawks’ Patrick Kane and Penguins’ Sidney Crosby.

NHL 19 Team of the Year lineup includes Kane, Crosby

It’s no surprise that the trio of 99 forwards for the 2019 Team of the Year includes multiple-time Stanley Cup winners Patrick Kane and Sidney Crosby. Joining them as a 99 on TOTY is Johnny Gaudreau of the Calgary Flames. Kane, Crosby, and Gaudreau are currently amongst the top five points leaders in the league right now. Kane sits in third place with 101 points for the season while Crosby is fourth with 93. Gaudreau is fifth overall with 92 points in his season.

After that, there are a number of players in the lineup who each boast 97 ratings. They include the Lightning’s Steven Stamkos, Bruins’ Brad Marchand, and Maple Leafs’ Jon Tavares. Several 92-rated stars also made the cut. Basically, it’s a who’s who of the best players from North America in the NHL today.

On defense, we have another two players with 99 ratings. They are the San Jose Sharks’ Brent Burns and Maple Leafs’ Morgan Rielly. The Flames’ Mark Giordano and Capitals’ John Carlson are 97s, while Jake Bean and Zach Redmon bring 92s to the roster.

Of course, there are also two goalies on the TOTY. They are a 99 Marc-Andre Fleury (Golden Knights) and a 95 Jordan Binnington (Blues). Both of these goalkeepers are stellar between the pipes and should give any Hockey Ultimate Team roster a solid save man. Binnington leads the league for goals-against average (1.78 GAA). He’s also tied for second in the NHL with a .930 save percentage. Fleury allows 2.46 goals on average per game and has a .915 save percentage.

These brand new NHL 19 TOTY player cards are available in Hockey Ultimate Team (HUT) packs for one week. So that means gamers have until Wednesday, March 27 to try to score the player cards they want the most. Cards are also available for sale on the marketplace but may be quite costly depending on which player you’re trying to get.
