S.P.E.C.I.A.L. – All Fallout 76 Perception Perk Cards Revealed So Far

Gamers now have just one month to wait before the release of Fallout 76. In fact, the game’s Beta, available to everyone who has pre-ordered the game, will be starting in less than two weeks’ time. A major difference between the upcoming title and previous instalments is the Perk Card system. This replaces the previous S.P.E.C.I.A.L. and Perk system. Every few levels, players gain a mew pack of Perk Cards which contain a handful of random Perk Cards. Every card is assigned to a particular S.P.E.C.I.A.L. attribute, and a number of cards can be freely equipped equal to each attribute’s score. While eleven different Strength cards have been revealed so far, only eight Perception Perk Cards have been revealed.

All the Fallout 76 Perception Perk Cards Revealed So Far

So far, only eight Perception Perk Cards have been revealed in Fallout 76 thus far. While a lot of Perk Cards appear to have multiple ranks, it’s unclear whether every card will; some of the Perception cards appear to have single benefits, like Percepti-Bobble. Players will see for themselves how these will work once the Beta begins in just over a week’s time. An interesting addition to Perception in Fallout 76 are abilities which help you to detect various items in the world using directional audio.

Eight Perception Perk Cards Have Been Revealed So Far

  • Night Person: You gain +1 Intelligence and +1 Perception between the hours of 6 PM and 6 AM.
  • Pannapictagraphist: When you are in range of a magazine, you will hear directional audio.
  • Percepti-Bobble: When you are in range of a bobble-head, you will hear directional audio.
  • Refractor: You gain energy resistance. The exact amount is unknown.

The following new Perception Perk Cards appeared during the Greenbrier Fallout 76 press event. These were either new reveals, or the cards had been changed since earlier reveals:

  • Butcher’s Bounty: You benefit from a 40% chance to gain additional meat when searching animals.
  • Concentrated Fire: Your VATS now allows you to target limbs. If you focus your fire, you gain bonuses to accuracy and damage per shot.
  • Green Thumb: When you harvest flora, you gain twice as much as normal.
  • Picklock: You gain +1 to your lockpicking skill. In addition, the ‘sweet spot’ for lockpicking will be 10% larger.
