FIFA 19 Premier League Player of the Season Voting Begins, Seven Nominees for EA Sports Award
The EA Sports FIFA 19 Premier League Player of the Season voting is officially underway! Seven of the top football stars from English Premier League this season will be vying for the award. Gamers will get to register their votes and see if their preferred footballer takes home the title in 2019. Let’s dive in and check out who all the nominees are for the latest FIFA award.
Hazard, Sterling Amongst FIFA Premier League POTS Nominees
The shortlist of candidates for this latest installment of EA Sports’ FIFA Premier League Player of the Season. However, each and every one of them seems deserving in their own right. Leading the way are fan favorites Eden Hazard and Raheem Sterling. They’re joined by Sergio Aguero, Bernardo Silva, Sadio Mane, and Mohammed Salah. These stars have appeared throughout the FIFA 19 Ultimate Team season for various promotions including a number of the Team of the Week lineups.
Chelsea star Hazard has the best FIFA card of the bunch here. He boasts a 91 OVR card and his season’s stats include 16 goals and 15 assists for the season. Sterling holds an 87 OVR. The Manchester City star has achieved 17 goals and 10 assists for the season.
EA Sports’ FIFA tweeted out a promotional video to showcase each of these football stars in action.
Of the stars up for the award, Sadio Mane has scored the most goals with 20 for the season. However, Virgil van Dijk and Sterling each claimed recent PFA awards which could also point towards one of them winning this FIFA PLPOTS title as well.
A case for Silva, how to vote for POTS online
Stats may not mean everything in terms of who wins. Manchester City star Bernardo Silva has scored just seven goals and has seven assists. He’s also been a major component in cup competitions, which may factor into how people vote for him here.
One thing is certain, most, if not all, of these players, are likely to appear on the upcoming Premier League Team of the Season.
