FIFA 21 to Feature Launch of EA Sports Partnership With AC Milan, Inter Clubs

The upcoming FIFA 21 game from EA Sports will feature the launch of a multi-year partnership involving AC Milan and Inter. That will mean exclusive rights to both of the Serie A clubs in the future FIFA games. The news arrives several months ahead of the new game’s release date, but is sure to please fans.

FIFA 21 begins an exclusive partnership with popular Serie A clubs

The new FIFA 21 title will bring two of the top three Serie A clubs from the Italian league exclusively to EA Sports’ game. Nick Wlodyka, the Vice President and general of EA Sports commented on the importance of authenticity when it comes to the FIFA game.

“It’s something that’s unbelievably important to our players. You look at Serie A, and Milan and Inter obviously are two of the top three clubs in that particular league. We’re making sure that we’re able to represent them fully, authentically, and now exclusively. They’re very storied clubs, with all sorts of incredible history behind them and alternately, that’s a fantastic partnership for us,” Wlodyka told Goal.

With the deal, EA Sports will be able to exclusively have the football clubs’ stadiums, team kits, crest, and players associated with FIFA 21 and games beyond that.

“We look at all the pieces that are important. We make sure you have the right stadium, the kits, the crest, and we make sure that we capture the atmosphere in those stadiums appropriately,” Wlodyka said.

Among the star players involved with the AC Milan club are Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ante Rebic. Both were featured as part of FIFA 20’s Summer Heat promo. Inter includes notable players such as Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martínez. Both were members of the Serie A TOTSSF.
