The Fortnite season 7 new skins have arrived alongside a huge update to the Battle Royale map. Like in previous seasons, there are a ton of new skins to collect; seven to be exact. Of course, this number of skins could increase in the coming weeks and months but for now, there are a good number of wintery skins to collect.
Of those seven skins, though, there are a few of them that are particularly interesting and special. These Fortnite season 7 new skins are unique and different from the others because they come with their own interesting challenges. These challenges are tied directly into the skins themselves and allow you to upgrade them. Veteran players will be familiar with this. In this guide, we are going to go over these special new skins.
How to Get Fortnite Season 7 New Skins
The Ice King, Zenith, and Lynx are the unique ones that allow you to complete challenges in order to unlock new designs and looks for them. Of course, you actually have to own these skins before you can go about doing this. Thankfully, this is mostly a simple task but be warned that it might take some real-world money from you.
All three of the Fortnite season 7 new skins are tied directly into this season’s Battle Pass. It costs 950 Vbucks per usual, which is just under $10 USD. If you owned passes in the past, you might already have some Vbucks lying around that make that price go down. Upon purchasing the Battle Pass, you are immediately granted both Zenith and Lynx.
You can immediately start doing challenges in order to change their designs and make them look better. As for the Ice King skin, though, you will need to not only buy the pass but reach tier 100 to unlock it. You can find skin challenges under the challenges tab in the Battle Royale lobby.
