Games Coming Soon to Xbox Game Pass – And What’s Leaving

Another month has begun, which means it’s time for another round of Xbox Game Pass games. While it looks like you’ll still have to wait for EA Play on PC, there’s plenty to get excited about.

Whether you like multiplayer or single-player games, RPGs or first-person shooters, there’s something for you coming soon. So let’s get right into it. Here’s what’s coming soon to Xbox Game Pass.

What’s Coming to Xbox Game Pass

Game Pass is adding seven new games this month, starting with Ghost of a Tale on PC, out now. In this action RPG, you’ll play as a mouse named Tilo exploring a medieval animal-populated world in search of your true love.

Two other titles are also out now: The Falconeer and Project Winter. Project Winter is an 8-player survival game full of deception and back-stabbing like Among Us. The Falconeer is an aerial combat game in the vein of Panzer Dragoon, where you can play through multiple campaigns and earn upgrades. These games are available on either Xbox or PC, or if you have Game Pass Ultimate, both.

On February 11, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is coming to Game Pass. This is the 2017 remaster of the expanded version of the 2006 original, which was initially Japan-only. If you’re a fan of Final Fantasy or JRPGs in general, you can’t miss this one.

Jurassic World Evolution, a Zoo Tycon-type game set in the Jurassic Park universe, also comes out on the 11th. That same day, you can download Stealth Inc. 2: A Game of Clones, a puzzle platformer initially released on the Wii U. This Metroidvania title will put you through 60 levels of puzzle-solving and platforming action.

The last game, also coming out on February 11, is a big one: Wolfenstein: Youngblood. Youngblood is the latest entry in the Nazi-fighting shooter and one that, unlike the rest, focuses on co-op strategy. It may not live up to the rest of the series, but getting it for free on Game Pass is a killer deal.

If none of these games are in your wheelhouse, Xbox has other upcoming titles to look forward to. For the sports fan, MLB The Show 21 comes out this April, and Halo Infinite is still slated to release later this year.

What’s Leaving

Of course, new games aren’t the only changes that come to Xbox Game Pass every month. Four games are leaving the service this month. If you haven’t had the chance to play these yet, you may want to do that before they’re gone.

First is De Blob, a puzzle platformer where you play as a sentient blob of paint, leaving on February 15. That same day, Ninja Gaiden II, the sequel to the critically acclaimed action-adventure RPG Ninja Gaiden, also leaves.

The last game to leave on the 15th is World of Horror, an indie RPG that stunned audiences when it released in 2019. From the retro graphics to the H.P. Lovecraft-inspired world, it’s an experience you don’t want to miss out on.

The next day, Shadows of the Damned leaves EA Play. If you use Game Pass for PC, you wouldn’t have access to it anyway, but console players may miss the boss battle-heavy action title.
