Halo Infinite has been revealed by 343 Industries and Microsoft, bringing a new chapter to Master Chief’s story in the Reclaimer Saga. With Microsoft owning the the strongest console in aspect of performance in this generation it’s only natural that Halo Infinite 4K resolution will be available for Xbox One X at launch.

Why is the Halo Infinite 4K resolution so important? As Phil Spencer revealed, this game will be Master Chief’s greatest story up to date and to create that a whole new engine, Slipspace, has been developed to house both this and future Halo projects.

As the game’s description on the Xbox Store reveals, Halo Infinite will be exclusive on Xbox One and PC and will be Enhanced on Xbox One X – presumably at launch – with HDR support and a stunning 4K resolution.

We already seen in Halo Infinite’s teaser trailer what Slipspace is capable of and the engine itself is made with a view in future titles that will be released on the next generation consoles. Given that, the fact that the upcoming title will target 4K resolution on Xbox One X feels only natural.

Titles like Assassin’s Creed Origin, The Witcher 3 and the recently revealed Nier Automata Xbox One version are only a few of the hundreds of Xbox One X enhanced titles.
