Horror Visual Novel Death Mark Arrives Just in Time for Halloween on Switch, PS4, and Vita

The upcoming survival horror visual novel Death Mark has its release date finally. The spooky adventure title will be releasing on October 31, otherwise known as the same day as Halloween for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation Vita. Not only that but North America Aksys Games has revealed that there will be a limited edition physical version releasing the same day.

The limited edition Death Mark physical version will come with the game, an exclusive full-color 96-page hardcover art book, the official soundtrack CD, a temporary tattoo of the chilling titular mark from the game, and an exclusive slipcase to contain all of the goodies.

Death Mark comes from the same publisher behind the gripping visual novel 999 and its two sequels. You play a character who has lost their memory and found themselves before a mysterious house. Your character has the mark of death on their arm with the house supposedly being the only safe place for you.

Throughout Death Mark, you will have to investigate, make decisions, and fight off evil spirits in order to save yourself from a gruesome death. The game already released originally in Japan last year to pretty positive reviews. Sales were also enough to warrant a sequel that is also now out in Japan.

Western players will finally get the chance to check it all out for themselves when Death Mark releases at the end of October on Halloween itself. The base game retails for different price points. The PlayStation Vita version of just the normal game retails for $39.99 while the limited edition is $59.99.

However, the Nintendo Switch and PS4 versions of the game are $49.99 while their respective limited editions are $69.99. October is looking to be a packed month for video games with other titles like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey releasing the same month.
