How to Change Map Rotation in Battlefield Portal

One of the most exciting features that has come with Battlefield 2042 is the Battlefield Portal platform. This cool platform lets you build customized game modes, choosing settings for maps, factions, visibility, scale, mobility, and more. Messing around with Portal, and having a hard time figuring out map rotation? Let’s go over how to change map rotation in Battlefield Portal so you can build your perfect experience.

How to Change Map Rotation in Battlefield Portal

It turns out that changing the map rotation in Battlefield Portal is actually super easy once you learn how to do it. You are going to need to head to the “Core” setting once you are in Portal. From there, you will be able to change the map rotation.

You should see the maps available once you are looking at “Core.” On the right-hand side of the Builder menu, you will see an empty roster. Click on the maps you want, and drag them into the roster to build your map rotation in Battlefield Portal.

Map Layouts Available in Battlefield Portal

At present, there are 7 large map layouts available, along with 13 medium map layouts and 13 small map layouts.

The following large map layouts are available:

  • Discarded
  • Hourglass
  • Breakaway
  • Kaleidoscope
  • Manifest
  • Orbital
  • Renewal

Here are the medium map layouts you can choose from:

All of the maps available as large layouts, plus:

  • Battle of the Bulge
  • Arica Harbor
  • Valparaiso
  • El Alamein
  • Noshahr Canals
  • Caspian Border

What about the small map layouts you can put in your rotation in Portal? These include the following:

  • Discarded: Recycling Yard
  • Hourglass: Al Salam Park
  • Breakaway: Platform
  • Kaleidoscope: Data Center
  • Manifest: Caju Operations
  • Orbital: Crawlerway
  • Renewal: Fields
  • Battle of the Bulge: St. Vith
  • Arica Harbor: Town
  • Valparaiso: Village
  • El Alamein: Axis Airfield
  • Noshahr Canals: Container Area
  • Caspian Border: Gas Station
