Battlefield 2042’s full general release is scheduled for November 19th. While that is very soon, it may not feel soon enough! There are a few options for getting early access to Battlefield 2042. One thing you can do is just buy the Gold or Ultimate versions. Either of those will grant you immediate access to the game. In most locations and on most platforms, the unlock happened at midnight on November 12th.
Another option is to go through a subscription to get early access. You can, for example, sign up for EA Play or EA Play Pro. Another subscription that can get you access to the game right now is Xbox Game Pass. That being said, neither EA Play nor Xbox Game Pass will give you full early access. Instead, you will be playing a ten-hour trial. Although that may not sound as exciting as having full, unlimited access, it is less of a cash outlay than grabbing the Gold or Ultimate editions. Those editions will cost you $90 or $110 respectively. So, for those who are still on the fence about whether they want the game, it is a great option.
Now, if you go for EA Play Prorather than just EA Play, you actually do get unlimited Battlefield 2042 early access. That access will go away if you drop your membership. But while your membership is active, you can continue playing. It is not just a ten-hour trial.
